This is a slipcast Nut bowl made from porcelain. There is raw clay showing on parts of the exterior. Besides our white carbon trap shino glaze, the exterior was brushed with black stain. It was reduction fired to cone 10 in our gas kiln. There is subtle color and texture on the piece which was inspired from objects and tools in the granite quarry.
