Kids Class Descriptions

Kids classes run for five weeks from June 17 - July 18 2025. 

Registration opens on April 11.

Classes meet once a week for 5 weeks at our studio in downtown Kimball MN, 70 Main Street South.

Class registration includes: instruction, 12.5 pounds of clay, access to our common tools, glazes, bisque and glaze firing. One 12 x 24 kiln shelf of fired work is included for the 5 week class. 

Handbuilding

Ages 7 - 12

Tuesdays 10 am - noon

Instructor: Claire Volden

Cost $150

Students will try a variety of handbuilding projects including pinch pots, slab coasters and slumped bowls in this five week class.

Beginning Wheel Throwing

Ages 11 - 17

Wednesdays 10am - noon

Instructor: Claire Volden

Cost: $150

Learn how to throw pottery on the wheel during this five week class. Students will learn throwing, trimming and decorating.
