We are expanding!

Our classes have continually grown ever since we started teaching at Maine Prairie Studio five years ago. To better meet community interest and our own needs, we are expanding our studio to a Main Street location in downtown Kimball! The building will provide ample classroom space, as well as open studio space, residency program space and a retail storefront. We will continue to use our home studio for private studio space, wood firings and retreats. We are extremely excited for this opportunity to expand our ceramic arts programming, and to have a more visible presence for our work and studio locally, regionally and nationally.

Help us grow!

Before we can move into our new space, we need to complete some work, including a plumbing upgrade, insulation, wall sheathing, purchasing additional wheels and other studio equipment. We are asking for help from you, our community, to be able to do this.

We are excited to announce that we have received fiscal sponsorship from Springboard for the Arts through Incubator, their Fiscal Sponsorship Program.
Being a fiscally sponsored project means that we can receive tax-deductible grants, donations, in-kind donations and matching donations.

Many of you already support us in a wide variety of ways; we are so grateful for the ongoing support we have received from family, friends, students and patrons. We hope that you will consider making a tax deductible donation at this time to help with the next step in our journey.

Maine Prairie Studio is a sponsored project of Springboard for the Arts, a nonprofit arts service organization. Contributions on behalf of Maine Prairie Studio may be made payable to Springboard for the Arts and are tax deductible to the extent permitted by law.

We also accept In-Kind and Matching donations. Please consider making a tax deductible In-Kind donation or a Matching donation to Maine Prairie Studio. We are particularly in need of more wheels, but we also would welcome clay, tools, bats or other ceramics studio materials or equipment. Please contact us by email or phone with any questions you may have about our studio or making an In-Kind donation or Matching donation.
