JD and Megan from Maine Prairie Studio are fabulous and skilled craftspeople. They delivered beautiful custom stoneware latte cups, working with our custom specs for size and glaze. The cups are gorgeous and bring us joy every morning.
Been collecting their work(s) for years. Fun to see it evolve!!!
I love the unique styles of main Prairie Studios work! They are always the first mugs to be grabbed from the cupboard.
I have been taking classes at Maine Prairie Studio since September 2025. I had no experience with clay, but always wanted to try throwing. Megan is so patient, knowledgeable, & great sense of humor.
I LOVE my Prairiewares set, I have the dishes, mugs, tumblers, bowls and dessert plates. I couldn’t decide on one color, so I asked if I could choose 4 different colors for my set of four and they said yes. They are beautiful and I love the uniqueness of each piece. Order a set - you won’t be disappointed! Thank you for creating such beautiful dishes to use everyday!
I'm so happy to have these beautiful dessert plates. They're the perfect size, color, you name it.
Great variety in effects with wood fired technique.
Flawless transaction.
Thank you. The Farm platter evokes nostalgic memories of growing up in Minnesota.
Love the platter you sent, it arrived safe & sound.
Thanks
This was such a great workshop. Marion provided lots of support and helpful insight. Loved hearing about her journey with creating. Maine Prairie space and community is always welcoming! I love playing with my new stamps!
Classes were great. They will meet any learner at their level.
JD was a super host/ instructor for our group!!!
Working with JD and Megan was delightful! Their understanding of the project and creativity lead to a beautiful serviceable piece of art for our church. Thank you so very much.
I love my new mug, and am using it every morning for my coffee. It was so good to see both of you, and hope you have a safe and prosperous summer. Mind the smoke....it is brutal here!
My dad and I did this class, and we both had the best time! My dad hasn’t spun a pottery wheel since high school, and it was my first ever time, and we loved every second of it! JD was incredible helpful, kind, and knowledgeable - he was the best teacher! Thanks so much for offering this class and having us! We will be back :)
