Consistency in Creative Practice- a workshop with Johnne Law McMahan and Molly May of NICE NICE Ceramics and Kiln Service: March 14, 2026

学到更多This afternoon workshop is from 1 pm - 4 pm and will include a talk and demo that will explore consistency as a creative practice; not as constraint, but as commitment. From form and mark making, to branding, and how a studio shows up in the world, we’ll unpack how intentional repetition builds recognition, trust, and clarity, while still leaving room for evolution. What does your work say about you when you’re not there to present it?
The workshop will include live demonstrations of throwing, trimming, carving, and pulling handles, offering a look at how consistency shows up in process as well as in finished work. The talk will also include a brief overview of NICE NICE Kiln Service, and how service, reliability, and care are an extension of brand values and creative practice.
