Open studio and firing passes are also available for individuals who are not currently enrolled in one of our classes.  Individuals should sign up for an open studio/firing pass if they wish to work independently, but still have studio and kiln access. 

An open studio/firing pass costs $100/month. You can purchase one month at a time at that price or We have a discount if you purchase a pass in 3 ,6, or 12 month blocks. 

3 months- 10% discount

6 month- 20% discount

12 month- 30% discount

The open studio/firing pass includes access to our common tools, pottery wheels, ware racks, slab roller, slips, glazes, bisque and glaze firing in our cone 6 electric or cone 10 reduction kilns. You will receive a brief orientation to the studio, but instruction is not included. Clay and firing fees are not included with the open studio pass.

 Additional firing costs may be incurred depending on the amount of work made. Firing costs will be calculated based on the number of 12 x 24 shelves used by each individual in our cone 10 reduction kiln or our cone 6 electric kiln. The cost per shelf is $25. 

The open studio/firing pass gives you access to the studio during these hours:

• Monday - Thursday: 8 am - 9 pm
• Friday - Sunday: 8 am - midnight
