About us
Maine Prairie Studio is the pottery studio of Megan and JD Jorgenson, located in Kimball, Minnesota. Our studio aims to nurture creativity and elevate the ceramic arts through community education for rural Minnesotans. Additionally, we support local, regional and national artists through internships, apprenticeships, retreats and residencies.
Maine Prairie Studio & Gallery
Downtown Kimball MN Campus
Our gallery and main teaching studios are located at our downtown Kimball campus. The studio is used for our five and ten week classes, come try it classes, workshops and fieldtrips.
Our five and ten week classes use the North campus for glazing for the gas kiln and wood firings.
Maine Prairie Studio, North Campus
Our North campus is located several miles north of Kimball and is the ori ginal location for the studio. Our cone 10 reduction kiln and wood kilns are located here, and we also use the studio for retreats, residencies and camps.
