2026-2027 Pottery Classes


Maine Prairie Studio offers small classes with personalized instruction. In 2026-27, there will be five week and ten week sessions in the spring, summer, fall and winter. Click on the images below to see registration and class dates/times, class descriptions, experience levels, cost. 

Maine Prairie Studio is a fiscal year 2027 recipient of a Arts Education grant from the Minnesota State Arts Board. This activity is made possible by the voters of Minnesota through a grant from the Minnesota State Arts Board, thanks to a legislative appropriation from the arts and cultural heritage fund.

I LOVE my Prairiewares set, I have the dishes, mugs, tumblers, bowls and dessert plates. I couldn’t decide on one color, so I asked if I could choose 4 different colors for my set of four and they said yes. They are beautiful and I love the uniqueness of each piece. Fantastic time!

My dad and I did this class, and we both had the best time! My dad hasn’t spun a pottery wheel since high school, and it was my first ever time, and we loved every second of it! JD was incredible helpful, kind, and knowledgeable - he was the best teacher! Thanks so much for offering this class and having us! We will be back :)
