Summer kids classes run for five weeks from June 17 - July 15, 2025. Classes meet once a week for 5 weeks at our studio in downtown Kimball MN, 70 Main Street South.
Kids Class Descriptions
Handbuilding
Ages 7 - 12
Tuesdays 10 am - noon
Instructor: Claire Volden
Cost $150
Students will try a variety of handbuilding projects including pinch pots, slab coasters and slumped bowls in this five week class.
Your class registration includes: class instruction, 12.5 pounds of clay, open studio access outside of class time, access to our common tools, pottery wheels, ware racks, slips, glazes, bisque and glaze firing. One 12 x 24 kiln shelf of fired work is included for the 5 week class.
Additional firing costs may be incurred depending on the amount of work made. Firing costs will be calculated based on the number of 12 x 24 shelves used by each individual in our cone 10 reduction kiln. The cost per shelf is $25.
Please note:
Refunds on classes, retreats, and workshop enrollment can be made 30 days from the start date for full refund. Unfortunately, a refund will not be issued for the cost of class retreat or workshop after this time.
