Come try It! Classes

‘’Come Try It” classes offer a short introduction to clay. New classes will be added in February 2026.

Each session is two hours long and provides a hands-on experience that will culminate in a finished piece. These pieces will be glazed and fired in our kilns, and available to pick up within a month of the class. 

All ‘Come Try it’ classes are first come, first serve.  Please register and come try something new!

 Maine Prairie Studio offers small classes with personalized instruction. In 2026, there will be five week and ten week sessions in the spring, summer, fall and winter. Maine Prairie Studio is a fiscal year 2026 recipient of a Arts Education grant from the Minnesota State Arts Board. This activity is made possible by the voters of Minnesota through a grant from the Minnesota State Arts Board, thanks to a legislative appropriation from the arts and cultural heritage fund.
