Immerse yourself in clay during a four day summer intensive at Maine Prairie Studio!

These four day classes include instruction and open studio access at our downtown Kimball location. 

Summer 2025 Intensives:

July 28 - 31: Mixed Level Wheel Throwing

Whether you are a beginning, intermediate or advanced student, this class will offer the opportunity to learn new skills on the potters wheel. This intensive will focus on throwing fundamentals, understanding form and combining wheel thrown components

Daily Schedule: 

10 am -1 pm: Demonstrations and personalized instruction

1 pm: Lunch provided at the studio

1 pm - 10 pm: Open studio available for students

All work should be completed by 10 pm on Thursday of the intensive

Glazing and firing will be at later date by arrangement

Cost:

$400 includes instruction, open studio, 25# of clay and firing, lunch

$100 Camping at "Makers' Acres" AKA-Jorgenson property (optional)

Refunds on classes, intensives, retreats, and workshop enrollment can be made 30 days from the start date for full refund. Unfortunately, a refund will not be issued for the registration cost after this time.
